Announcements with Jess – for the week of September 25th!

Mary Lou is out, hopefully relaxing, so Mrs. Jess (our Director of Children’s Ministry) is stepping in to give you the announcements!

Family Night Suppers = Picky Eaters Contest = Corniest Person at St. Paul! Bring your best cornbread for our Picky Eaters Contest, judged by the Youth! You may be crowned the Corniest Person at St Paul. This happens THIS WEDNESDAY!! Just bring your cornbread and we will put it in the contest!

St. Paul for All 2022 is October 23rd and the focus is on alleviating hunger – globally and locally. The global arm is “Rise Up For Hunger”, where food will go to nations in need. RIGHT NOW, OUR FOCUS IS ON WYNNTON NEIGHBORHOOD NETWORK! The local arm is “Pack the Trailer, Pack the Shelves”, where we are asking. for donations of non-perishable food items (lists are in your bulletin, online and on social media) to pack the Boy Scout trailer. These donations will be delivered on 10/23 to Wynnton Neighborhood Network. Sign ups for volunteering are coming soon! St. Paul’s Charge Conference will be held on Monday, September 26, 2022, at 6:30 p.m. in room M232. Per the UMC Book of Discipline – The primary responsibilities of the charge conference in the annual meeting shall be to review and evaluate the total mission and ministry of the church.
All members of the Administrative Council and of the church are invited to attend, no reservation needed. Please come join us and hear about what our church has done this church year!

3. CHILDREN’S CHOIRS have also returned on Sunday afternoon/evening! Carol Choir (grades K and 1st) meet at 5:00 p.m. and the Covenant Choir (grades 2 – 5) meet at 6:00 p.m. Snack supper is at 5:30 p.m. for both choirs at the cost of only $1. Both choirs meet in room M235.

4. St. Paul for All 2022, SP4A, is Sunday, October 23rd! This week, we will focus on the local arm of the event which will fight hunger in Columbus.
Canned food drive 9/11 – 10/23

Our local mission is helping feed those in need in our own community through Wynnton Neighborhood Network. Bring items to the church, and we will be delivering them to WNN on 10/23.

A list of what’s needed can be found around the church, online, in your bulletin. All non-perishables are welcome!

5. SPY Bible Studies have started on Sunday nights. We are studying through the Book of Luke along with the rest of the church. The times are 5:30pm -7pm. Snack supper FOR $1 and hang out time followed by breaking up into Middle School and High School groups. Don’t miss out.
