Children's Ministry Statement:

St. Paul Kids' Ministry serves newborns through 6th grade.  Our ministry provides multiple opportunities where children may experience God's Love, Learn what it means to be made in God's image, and Live as children of the Light.

Sunday School:

With Deep Blue curriculum, children will make Bible stories, Bible people, and Bible passages a part of their lives.  They will also come to know the Bible as THEIR book and find ways to let the Bible speak to them today!

Deep Blue incorporates Bible stories, science activities, arts & crafts, animated video storytelling, and active games into a lived-faith experience that will help children discover what it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ.

Sally Key Bowden

Director of Children's Ministry

While a student at Auburn University, I learned the importance and effectiveness of relational ministry as I had the opportunity to serve as a Young Life/WyldLife Leader. Living in Memphis, TN for the past two years, I worked on Young Life Staff which helped me to gain valuable experience with youth.

Spending time with kids and getting to know them is one of the most effective ways to share the love of Jesus, and there is nothing I love more.

I have never met a stranger and consider myself to be an expert in loquaciousness, however, some might say I talk a little too much. Besides spending time with kids and friends young and old, I LOVE music.

I’m pretty much always listening to all types of music. I enjoy an occasional concert, but mainly classic/southern rock cover bands. Who doesn’t love a good Marshall Tucker cover?!? I also enjoy collecting old editions of Gone With The Wind, a story I’ve loved since I was four years old (my dog, Aunt Pitty, was named after Aunt Pitty Pat from GWTW).
