Recent Sermon, “Devoted Things” on August 23, 2020 (http://youtube.spumccolumbus.com)
“Man who moved out of the heart of God by sin now moves back into the heart of God through redemption. God, who moved out of the heart of man because of sin, now enters again His ancient dwelling to drive out His enemies and once more make the place of His feet glorious.” (A. W. Tozer, “God’s Pursuit of Man”)
We have the amazing love of God the Father. We have the amazing reception of Jesus. We have the amazing gift of the Holy Spirit.
We should involve God in every part of our life because God wants to be involved in every part of our life.
How do I use and become comfortable with the Holy Spirit and make Him a more intimate part of my life? Spend the time to get to know God and His love for you.
Life gives us opportunities to rely more on God and less on ourselves.
In that split second moment, we must decide where we will place our trust.
“The basis of Christian growth is to hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ proclaimed over and over and over again.”
Everything that we live in should come back to that Image of Christ.
Embrace the Monday through Saturday mentality of giving each day to God.
What if you embraced the gift of the Holy Spirit in your life each and every moment?
