Sally Key

Youth Ministry

While a student at Auburn University, I learned the importance and effectiveness of relational ministry as I had the opportunity to serve as a Young Life/WyldLife Leader. Living in Memphis, TN for the past two years, I worked on Young Life Staff which helped me to gain valuable experience with youth.

Spending time with kids and getting to know them is one of the most effective ways to share the love of Jesus, and there is nothing I love more.

I have never met a stranger and consider myself to be an expert in loquaciousness, however, some might say I talk a little too much. Besides spending time with kids and friends young and old, I LOVE music.

I’m pretty much always listening to all types of music. I enjoy an occasional concert, but mainly classic/southern rock cover bands. Who doesn’t love a good Marshall Tucker cover?!? I also enjoy collecting old editions of Gone With The Wind, a story I’ve loved since I was four years old (my dog, Aunt Pitty, was named after Aunt Pitty Pat from GWTW).

And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”
