Carol Choir (Fall 2018-Spring 2019)
February 24 @ 5:00 pm - 5:30 pm
An event every week that begins at 5:00pm on Sunday, repeating until May 15, 2019
The Carol Choir is our choir for five year olds and first graders. They rehearse on Sunday evenings from 5:00-5:30pm. Children are invited to stay for the Snack Supper ($1) in the Fellowship Hall after their rehearsal.
Our Children’s Choir program is divided by age into three groups:
- Three and four year olds
- Five year olds through first grade
- Second through fifth grades.
With the youngest children, we concentrate on developing a love for singing and fun. They typically sing two times per year, at Christmas and in the spring. The two older choirs will sing in church more frequently and will be involved in our musicals!
We believe that Children’s Choir is a family ministry dedicated to nurture the love of singing praise to God. The Cherub Choir is joyful singing with some order and a lot of fun. The Carol Choir is geared to learning about singing and working together as a group, training for choral singing. The Covenant Choir is a classic Children’s Choir, learning choral techniques, singing styles, and learning to reading music.
