If one asked me to choose a word to describe life at St. Paul, it would be excitement. Each day one can see a clearer picture of what will be as our building and renovation project advances. Two weeks ago, our program staff did a walk-through of the Youth Building and excitement was in the air. Personally, I can’t wait for what will be as we prepare for 2019. I’m excited for all the lives that will be changed by what God is doing at St. Paul. Our mission is to grow the faith of others. We believe this best happens when people see God for who He is and trust in what God does.
As we prepare for 2019, I invite you to share in the excitement. We can’t fulfill our mission without your faithfulness and generosity to our Operational Ministry Budget. Our Narrative Budget gives insight into what is done according to each ministry area. Because we are in the middle of our building project, our staff has worked hard to propose a total budget amount that is the same as last year. You can find our Operational Ministry Financial Pledge Card below. Not only does this card help each giver, it greatly aids our Finance Committee in planning for 2019. There is also a Willingness to Serve form that can help you find a place to serve at St. Paul.
This is an exciting time for St. Paul. I invite you to be a part of our mission. We grow when we give, study, serve, and worship together. Prayerfully consider how you will be a part of St. Paul’s mission to grow the faith of others. Sunday, November 18, is our Consecration Sunday where we specifically pray for 2019’s ministry endeavors. I invite you to join me in one of our worship services on this day. If for some reason you can’t join me at St. Paul, consider our live-stream worship at live.spumccolumbus.com.
Please complete the information and return it to St. Paul. If it is more convenient, you can also complete them online at spumccolumbus.com/donate. Thank you for your faithfulness. May God bless you during this time of preparation and consecration.
